How do I create a social media post for a property?

Open the property, click Export and select Social media at the top of the window. Immopix puts your photos together into a post for Instagram and Facebook: up to 10 images in 4:5 portrait format (1080 × 1350 px), a cover with your logo and brand colour, and a ready post text. The post uses no credits.

How to create the post

  1. Open the property. Open the property in the property overview and click Export at the top.
  2. Switch to Social media. At the top of the window, switch from ZIP file to Social media. The preview shows the post as it will look in the feed.
  3. Check the cover. The first photo becomes the cover. A band in your brand colour shows a short label, the property type and town, and the rooms and living area. The label starts as “New listing”. You can type another one, such as “Reserved”, or hide it with Show label. If the property has a price, Show price decides whether the sale price or the cold rent appears on the image and in the text. The other photos stay without text.
  4. Edit the post text. The ready text is under Post text. You can change it directly in the field and copy it with Copy text.
  5. Share or download. On a phone, tap Share and pick an app such as Instagram, Facebook or WhatsApp. On a computer, click Download images to get a ZIP file with the images and the text.

You add your logo and brand colour once under Settings → Brand appearance (open it directly). If you have added a logo, it appears at the top left of the cover and small at the bottom right of the other photos. A changed label applies to this post only. The next time you open the window, it says “New listing” again.

Which photos go into the post?

Without a selection, Immopix uses the edited photos of the property. If no photo is edited yet, it uses all photos. Floor plans do not fit the format, so they are left out. If you have created an exposé, its cover photo also becomes the cover of the post.

A post holds at most 10 images. To show other photos, close the window, tick up to 10 photos in the photo overview and click Export again. Your selection carries over.

What is in the post text?

Immopix writes the text from your exposé and the property details. It starts with the label and the headline. Then come the first sentences of the property description, the town, rooms and areas, the price if you show it, a request to get in touch and a few hashtags. Without a finished exposé, the text is shorter. How to create an exposé is explained in Can I create property brochures with Immopix?

If you have entered the energy certificate type and value under Property details in the exposé, the text includes a line with the energy certificate details. In Germany, these details belong in every property advertisement. If the post shows photos you edited with Immopix, the text also says “Photos edited with AI.” This sentence follows the setting Show AI notice in the brochure.

Phone or computer?

Instagram does not take text from the share menu. So Immopix copies the post text as soon as you tap Share. You then paste it into Instagram as the caption. If your browser does not offer sharing, which is often the case on a computer, you only see Download images. The ZIP file holds the text as Immopix wrote it. If you changed it in the field, copy your version with Copy text.

Immopix does not publish anything itself. You do not connect an Instagram or Facebook account, and the post only goes online when you post it in the app.

Reels and Stories

Reels and Stories need a video in 9:16 portrait format. If you have already created one for the property, download it in the same window with Download video. Otherwise, Create video takes you to the setup. A video costs 2 credits per photo. The steps are in How do I create a property video from my photos?
